Who we are

Whether it's one budgie or a breeding room full of canaries

The Vancouver Island Cage Bird Society is a non-profit organization based in Victoria, BC. We bring together people who keep, breed, and exhibit cage birds — from first-time owners to lifelong breeders.

Three ways to join in

Come to a meeting

We meet the third Thursday of most months at the Quality Foods boardroom, across from the hospital. Visitors are always welcome.

Become a member

Annual membership is $25 and gives you a voice in the club, access to the breeder list, and a seat at every event.

Bring a bird to show

Our annual show and auction is the highlight of the year — a chance to exhibit, compare notes, and find your next bird.
